Weed Warriors

Join us for our first Weed Warriors event! We are partnering with the City of Brunswick to tackle invasive Kudzu growth at River’s Edge Trails. No experience is necessary. Our plan is to meet at River’s Edge Trails, provide a quick overview of how to identify Kudzu, and then start digging!
What to Wear
- Safety glasses (required)
- Gloves
- Boots
- Long Pants (suggested)
- Long sleeve shirt (suggested)
What to Bring in Your Pack
- Water
- Snacks
- Personal First Aid Kit (a crew kit will be available at coordinated volunteer events)
- Epipen (if you need one)
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
Tools to Bring
- Shovel
- Mattock or Pulaski
- Hand digging tools
- Hand saw *that you do not mind using in the dirt
- Loppers *that you do not mind using in the dirt
- Other gardening/landscaping tools you think may be helpful
