
The garden tour was a great success with five local gardens featuring a myriad of native plants, shrubs, and trees. Many gardens had a thriving overstory and understory that benefits birds, butterflies and other insects. Attendees were able to learn about plant care, where to source local natives, and how to get their gardens certified. One garden contained a Monarch Raising Station that showcased caterpillars in various sizes enjoying fresh milkweed. Stay tuned for more information on the 3rd annual garden tour in 2026.
